meaning items close to the lens can often be fuzzy and slightly out of focus.
This macro lens is designed to snap onto the Hero3 Waterproof housing.
Once on the macro can be swung open or closed. When in front of the lens
this will help you capture far sharper close-up shots and stunning details!
The macro lens will also lock back into place to stay out of the way while filming if not needed.
This lens is made out of a super strong optical acrylic for extra sharp optics.
A macro lens is designed to reduce the focal length of the GoPro Camera. This is great for capturing
razor sharp close-ups. This is huge for GoPro users because this macro lens will give your HERO3 footage
a completely new look. The standard wide angle shots can be repetitive, close up macro shots are a great
way to add creative flare to your edits.
This lens allows the camera to focus on subjects from 3 to 18 inches away from the camera lens.
It also acts as a magnifying glass pulling the center of the frame closer. You won't want the macro lens
on when filming subjects further than 24 inches away from the camera lens.
Simply swing the macro lens over the front of the filter when you wish to film close-up objects.
You can simply pop the lens filter on and off depending on what you are filming at the time,
which is not possible with other filters that are installed inside the lens housing.
This also means you don't need any tools to fit the lens, and no modification of your GoPro Housing is required!
