The GoPro HERO3 Waterproof Housing is a fantastic bit of kit, but the glass plate is completely clear
so has no fixes for colour balancing.

or sea water. It simply snaps on to the Hero3 waterproof housing, and can be removed in less than a second.
The filter is made out of glass for super sharp optics in addition to being extremely scratch resistant.
This filter’s optics are better than any other magenta filter on the market and it is less expensive.
This magenta filter is designed for filming in green water….up to really green water! What the filter does is removes
the excess green colouration leaving behind much more natural colours. Simply pop this filter on around 8 feet and you are good to go.
If you find yourself filming in green water this filter will make your videos much less green!

You will want to use your magenta filter when filming at depths of over 8 feet.
Above 8 feet of water the water you should not need a filter.
This snap-on filter is absolutely perfect for those who mix shallow and deep diving. You can simply pop the lens filter
on and off depending on the water conditions at the time, which is not possible with other filters that are installed inside the
lens housing. This also means you don't need any tools to fit the lens, and no modification of your Waterproof Housing is required!
