The Official GoPro Dive Flat Lens Housing is a fantastic bit of kit, but the glass plate is completely clear
so only removes the bubble lens distortion effect underwater, it has no fixes for colour balancing.

To make the most of your footage under fresh water, you will want to fit one of these magenta lens filters, to help
restore the colour balance, and make the footage a lot more vibrant!
A magenta filter helps when filming underwater in fresh / green water because red light disappears first underwater.
The magenta coloured filter also helps reduce the overall green tone of fresh water, allowing the GoPro camera's automatic
white balance to meter colours much more like the human eye would see them underwater.

Make the very most of your freshwater footage by fitting a magenta filter!

The Magenta filter is designed for use in green / fresh water, and it will will work best when filming from right under the surface
down to depths of around 65 feet.
It can also be used in greener seawater on non-tropical coastlines around the world (such as Canada, and the UK).
