The GoPro HERO range of sports cameras all come with a tough, shockproof outer housing.
Designed to protect the camera in harsh conditions, an outer housing that is
100% waterproof and working correctly is essential for many sports where snow,
fresh & salt water, mud or sand could damage the camera electronics.
If you've managed to damage the outer housing waterproof backdoor or the waterproof seal around it,
then you could risk your expensive GoPro HERO camera inside. If so, this is the replacement for you!
This GoPro replacement waterproof backdoor will fit outer housings for GoPro HERO "Original" & HERO 2 "Professional" cameras,
as well as some of the housings compatible with newer GoPro HERO3, 3+ & HERO4 cameras.
Generally if your housing has visible silver screws around the lens area, then this backdoor will fit:

- NOT COMPATIBLE with the GoPro standard 40m waterproof housing (AHSRH-401)
- NOT COMPATIBLE with the GoPro Blackout Housing (AHBSH-401)
- NOT COMPATIBLE with the GoPro HERO3 small skeleton housing (AHSSK-301)
The Waterproof Backdoor comes complete with fitted rubber seal and central foam pad to keep your GoPro camera itself snug, sealed,
and rattle-free in your outer housing of choice.
Obviously this will only keep your GoPro safe from water and other liquids when fitted to an existing waterproof (closed)
outer housing! So beware of this if fitting to a skeleton open sided housing.
